Race for the Cure

On September 25, Mommy took me to run my first race. We ran the Race for the Cure. We got up early in the morning to go to the race. Ella and her mommy, Sky, came with us.

It was chilly so Mommy had me all bundled up.



Ella was all bundled up too.

I slept through the whole race. In this picture you can see my sign for Kim. Kim is Melanie's mom. She had breast cancer.



Mommy stopped so we could get a picture in front of this pink truck.



We did it! My first 5K run!



Sky & Ella and Crystal, Paityn, & Jordyn walked the 1 mile. We waited for them at the finish line.

Some people from Mommy's school came too. This is her school group plus some people who used to work at Stanley.



Grandma, Mom, and I had so much fun during my first race.



Afterwards there were booths to get free stuff, and there were even Star Wars people. Mommy told me the ones at Disney World are better, but we still got a picture.



On the bleachers are breast cancer survivors.



They released some doves for the survivors. It was neat.



After the race we went to the mall with Ella, Jordyn, Paityn and their mommy's. Mom thinks it's funny that are first stop is always Von Maur. The mom's just love thier changing room!



Paityn and Crystal got some pink dye in their hair.



While they were getting their hair done, Mommy won a raffle. She was sad that she didn't win a giftcard, but she did win this cool M&M fan.

Afterwards, Ella and her Mommy came over for a little bit. We are finally getting big enough to play together. We were having a good time talking to each other.
