7 Months Old

Dear Antonio,

You are 7 months old now! You are just growing too fast! Here are some things about you...

-You roll over like crazy. We have to wrestle you to change your diaper. You try to flip to your stomach the whole time.
-You have started to notice Bevo and you love to touch "the puppy," which is what Daddy calls Bevo when he's talking to you.
-You love to stand. You prefer to be standing at all times. You pull yourself up on anything you can get your hands on. In your crib you stand up and yell for us.
-Speaking of standing in your crib, I laid you down for a nap this past Saturday, and I heard a funny noise. You were standing in your crib for the first time and were tearing down the mobile. I took the mobile down before you could destroy it.
-Daddy is so protective of you. He worries that you will fall when you are standing and makes sure one of us is near you.
-Mommy is the wild one and you love when I throw you in the air. You have the hugest smile!
-You still aren't a fan of baby food. As for eating you prefer to drink a bottle. Nursing is really hard because if you hear a noise you immediately have to see what it is.
-You have been working really hard at trying to crawl. You haven't quite figured it out. You try to stay on your feet in the back instead of your knees. I think you'd prefer to just walk.
-You have started sleeping through the night. Praise the Lord! You go to bed at about 8:00 and wake up around 7:45.
-You like peekaboo now and finally understand that we still exist when you can't see us.
-You are starting to cry when you are with people you don't know that well. This has made your Nanny Tourney and your Grandpa very sad. They better start coming around more often!
-You sit up and play with toys really well now. This has given Mommy and Daddy some freedom!


I love you so much Antonio! I'm amazed at all the new things you are learning and am excited everyday to see what you'll do next!
