A Fun Saturday

Last week I really got in to swimming lessons. It was my third week going, and I decided to really try to swim. When we threw our rubber duckies and swam after them, I really tried to kick my legs. Mommy said I looked like a frog.

After swimming lessons, I was so worn out, I took a nap in the car on the way home from the YMCA. Mommy wasn't too happy about that because when she got me out of the car, I woke up. Then I wouldn't go back to sleep. She decided I wasn't taking a nap, so she called up Grandma and we all went to the mall.

Grandma had wanted to go to the mall because it was free Auntie Anne's Pretzel day. Grandma and Mommy both got yummy looking pretzels and I just got some Gerber puffs and a bottle. Mommy thought that since it was free pretzel day she was going to get out of the mall without spending any money. Doesn't she know by now that I'm expensive? She ended up getting me an outfit for Easter. She told Daddy that it was $30, but I know she was fibbing. He wasn't happy about $30, I wonder how he'd feel if he knew how much it really cost. Good thing I can't talk, because I don't want to lie to Daddy!

Mommy also got me a St. Patrick's day shirt. She got that from Von Maur where we went to visit Grandma's friend, Gaynell. Gaynell always makes me smile. I like her! I'm sure I'll be posting some pictures soon of my Easter outfit and my St Patrick's Day outfit. If there's anything Mommy likes more than pictures, it's themed pictures!

While we were at the mall, Mommy had me pose with the mannequins at Old Navy. There was a contest to be a Supermodelquin and you had to pose with the mannequins. I was looking prety cool in my new sunglasses Mommy bought me. Everyone was talking about my glasses. I was really styling!

Too bad Mommy didn't get the pictures entered in time. Oh well!

On the way home from the mall, my Mommy's cousin, Nicole, called Grandma and asked her to watch her baby, Pablo. I hadn't met Pablo, so I was excited. They came over later that night.

Pablo is a couple months younger than me. He doesn't sit up yet or hold his head up very steady so he wasn't much fun. This is probably how Jordyn and Ella used to think about me when I was little.

He did like to watch me play a little bit.

I let him borrow my chair for awhile. He liked it. Mommy and Daddy think he looks more Mexican than I do.

This was such a busy Saturday for me. To show Mommy that it was too much for me, I stayed up half the night. At 2 am, I woke up crying. When she tried to get me back to sleep, I just kept crying. Then Mommy brought me to bed with her and Daddy because she thought maybe my stomach hurt. I should have taken advantage of this and slept with them, but I was having to much fun. Mommy realized I wasn't sick when I started blowing spit bubbles and cooing at her. Then she put me back in my crib. Oh well, it was a fun little middle of the night party!
